Lightning strikes claim 10 lives in B’desh

At least 10 people including two children were killed and 16 others injured on Monday morning in lightning strikes in two Bangladeshi districts.A local official from Chapainawabganj district said eight people including two children, were killed and three others injured in lightning.

Another official from Pabna district said two farmers were killed and 13 others injured in thunderbolt. All the lightning victims were admitted to local hospitals.
At least 16 people were killed and a score others injured by lightning in a tropical storm in seven districts of Bangladesh in May last year.
