Karan Taunk wins Pre Qualifying I
Jamshedpur, December 5, 2012: JamshedpurⳠKaran Taunk (68-68)
finished on top of the leaderboard at the end of round two of the
PGTIⳠPre Qualifying I for the 2013 season being held at the Golmuri
Golf Course in Jamshedpur. Taunk ended up with a total of
six-under-136.
A total of 34 players qualified from Pre Qualifying I for the Final
Qualifying Stage as five players were tied at 30th position when the
cut was declared at seven-over-149.
Karan Taunk fired four birdies and a bogey on Wednesday.
Raja Sardar (68-70) of Kolkata and Ashbeer Singh Saini (75-63) of
Kapurthala were placed tied second at four-under-138.
