Arun Jaitley launches digital version of Mahatma Gandhi's collected work

Information and Broadcasting Minister Arun Jaitley today launched the e-version of the 100 volumes of the Collected Works of Mahatma Gandhi in New Delhi. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Jaitley said, the collected works of Mahatma Gandhi are a treasure that India offers to the world. He also congratulated scholars involved in the compilation of Collected Works of Mahatma Gandhi, CWMG. Mr Jaitley said society will be immensely benefited with the new e-version. He said the historic speeches of Mahatma Gandhi have been immortalised through the digital version.

Authentic documentation of Mahatma Gandhi's available writings was carried out under the CWMG project. The project commenced on September 1956 and concluded on 2 October 1994, with the publication of the 100th volume.
