NASA Pics Nails Lies of NCT Pollution By Farm Waste Burning

May03, 2016 (C) Ravinder Singh ravinderinvent@gmail.com

I was getting NASA Natural Hazard bulletin every day but was not exploring it after monsoon. Working on NASA site to get latest pictures first I gave up but as I was watching LOK SABHA TV Question on pollution I recalled I am getting daily feed.
NGOs, Media & IITs mislead Crops Burning Pollution in NCT Region and Punjab & UP. Even at PEAK Rabi Crop Residue Burning Smoke is Minimum.
Though this NASA High Resolution Picture is of April28, 2016 but is UNIQUE it covers both NCT Rabi Crop Residue Fire as well as Uttarkhand Forest Fires.
Wheat harvesting in NCT take out almost 95% of Wheat Straw and 99.9% Grains therefore residue left in the farms is barely few hundred kg per hectare.
In comparison Forest Fires are Intense – Dry Biomass ready to burn is in Tones per hectares including seeds has high Calorific Value also so burn fast and intensely emitting tones of smoke. Area left of Nepal border is Uttarakhand.
