Switzerland expressed its readiness to broaden and deepen its relationship with ASEAN. This was reaffirmed by H.E. Mrs. Doris Leuthard, Vice President of the Swiss Confederation and Head of the Federal Department of Environment, Transport, Energy and Communications who paid an official visit to the ASEAN Secretariat yesterday and met with H.E. Le Luong Minh, Secretary-General of ASEAN. He stated that ASEAN and ASEAN Member States have enjoyed broad-based, extensive and long-standing engagement with Switzerland.
